On the anniversary of the Alabama tornadoes, a possible tornado outbreak has developed over Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. Cities such as [Kansas City, Missouri], [Joplin, Missouri], [Wichita, Kansas], and [Tulsa, Oklahoma] are in the target area for today.

Storms will start around mid-afternoon and travel eastward approaching the Joplin area around sunset.
